About U15 Rowing

Here at Treasure Coast Rowing Club, we strive to bring the best out of each one of our youth rowers. Our U15 team focuses on preparation for later aspects of our athletes' rowing careers, focusing on strength building, technique perfection, leadership mentality, and championship preparation. We build our rowers to be the best version of themselves they can be, even starting at the young ages from 8 years old to 14 years old! 


Our experienced coaching staff helps our rowers develop skills such as improving technique and developing both strength and endurance. Our training plan consists of conditioning to get rowers into the best shape of their life. In the fall rowing season, our coaching staff trains the athletes in basic weight lifting, cardio, and both, sculling and sweep techniques. In the spring rowing season, the athletes are trained and conditioned for their most competitive season with an increased practice schedule of 5 sessions per week and high endurance training.

We realize that the above dues can be steep for some families. Rowing is an expensive sport, but as a community organization, we try hard to include everyone.
