How to Join the Juniors Crew Team

1. Read the website and all information in the hanbook. This will give you and your potential rower an idea of what the culture is like and how much of a time committment this sport entails. Unlike other sports, we need all rowers to attend every practice so that we can put boats on the water.

2. If you are still interested then please contact Coach Stefanie Falkner by e-mail at [email protected]

3. We take on new rowers mostly in the summer by promoting learn to row programs. This is the best time to learn how to row becuase rowing has two seasons, Fall which begins in September and Spring which begins in January.

4. All rowers are required to have all necessary paperwork filled out and submitted before participation. The Parent/Athlete Handbook has all paperwork needed except for the pre-participation physical evaluation which your school provides to the athletes or your physician can provide to you.

*If your Doctor does not have the physical form we will accept the FSHAA physical form.

TCRC Financial Assistance Program

We realize that the above dues can be steep for some families. Rowing is an expensive sport but as a community organization we try hard to include everyone.

If you would like to get more information about this program please contact Coach Stefanie Falkner at [email protected].

You will then be sent an application which will ask for tax/income information. Once submitted, this application will be reviewed by the Juniors Committe Board Members and the awarded amount will be determined. The decision to award financial assistance will be e-mailed to the applicant.
