The Spring Season is under way! Information about the upcoming regattas can be found below. Please keep in mind that regatta times can and most of the time do change! For the fall races you have the choice of going the night before or drive up in the mornings. This is up to each family to decide.

SPRING SEASON

Directions to the Charles and Ruth Clemente Sports and Recreation Center
From the North: Take I-95 to Exit 180 East, US 192. Go east on US 192 until you get to Babcock St. Turn south (right) on Babcock St. about 1 mile until you get to the light at University Blvd. Turn right onto University Blvd. The Clemente Center is on the left side of the road. The address is 150 W. University Blvd, Melbourne FL 32901.
From the South: Take I-95 to Exit 176 East, Palm Bay Road. Go east to Babcock St. and turn north (left). Go north on Babcock St. for about 2 miles to University Blvd. and turn left on University.

Parking
A new parking garage has been built next door to the recreation center and will be available to competitors and organizations for use

Food: This is a bring your own event, we will not have a table/tent set up since this is not a full day. There will be concessions avaiable next door to the Clemete Center.

Start Times: Our events are schedule to be between 12pm-3:30pm. Lightweight rowers MUST weigh in no less than three hours prior to their event time (they cut off three hours prior to your start time and lines can be long, plan to weigh in 4hrs prior). All other rowers need to check in 2 hrs prior to their start time. Check back for the event list.

Directions:

NEWNAN'S LAKE
From I-75, go east on University Avenue. You will pass University of Florida, and our downtown area. When Hawthorne Road (hwy 20) bears off to the right continue straight on University. In about 3 miles hwy 26 bears off to the left, but you stay in the right hand lane and continue straight on University Ave.(an overhead sign also says it is Co 329-B). If you continue straight about 1.5 miles you will end up in Newnan's Lake. You will notice a yellow highway sign indicating a right angle turn in the road. Directly across the road at that point on your left is a dirt driveway, parking lot, and gate. That is the entrance to the boathouse. You will be directed into the field to park your trailer. Only boat trailers will be permitted to park inside of our fenced in area. Other cars/trucks will have to park outside. If you get lost call Jen Figueroa at 219-0717
