Boathouse
On August 26, 1997 the Martin County Board of Commissioners granted the Treasure Coast Rowing Clubs request for a boathouse site at Palm Citys Leighton Park and approved a 25-year renewable lease. The boathouse is located on .91 acres on the shores of the St. Lucie Rivers South Fork. It is a 22 by 72 foot storage facility that contains 36 boats. The Treasure Coa st Rowing Club invites you to join in this community venture. Come experience the joys and the satisfactions of rowing. Become a member of the Club. We solicit your particip ation as we grow.
PROGRAMS
Programs are primarily aimed at recreational and organized competitive rowing at all skill and age levels. The Club owns both single and multi-seat boats for training, instruction, and recreational uses. Rowing instruction is available on a weekly basis, as conditions permit, for any interested persons. A complete masters program, including coaching for competition and participation in organized regattas, is very active. Establishment of a Martin County training venue for winter collegiate rowing is an ongoing program. A competitive juniors program for high school students was started in January 2011.
